sgml xml docbook - generowanie dokumentów

Witam.

Otóż spawa wygląda tak. Przygotowałem sobie dokument w formacie docbook, 
napisany w xml. Kiedy próbuję go zweryfikować pod kątem poprawności:

# onsgmls -s /usr/share/xml/declaration/xml.dcl dokument.db
dostaję coś takiego:

Domyślam się, ze występują jakieś problemy z kodowaniem, więc po 
przekonwertowaniu dokumentu (iconv) na iso8859-2:

# onsgmls -s /usr/share/xml/declaration/xml.dcl dokument-iso.db

Walidacja zakończyła się bez błędów. Następnie próbuję wygenerować jakieś 
czytalne formaty, np. html.

# sgmltools --backend=html dokument-iso.db
dostaję błędy typu?

Jakichkolwiek kombinacji poleceń bym nie używał zawsze pojawiają się takie 
błędy. Czy ktoś może spotkał się z podobnym problemem i  jest w stanie 
udzielić mi pomocy?
