[network] 3Com Corp. FE575C 10/100 LAN CardBus problem z WATCHDOG oraz dlugie czasy pinga



witam!

Posiadam laptopa HP OmniBook 5700CTX (P166MMX, 128MB RAM itd.). Problem jest
z sieciowka na PCMCIA (Dokladnie CardBus) 3Com Corporation 3CCFE575CT
Cyclone CardBus (rev 10). "Testy" prowadze korzystajac z Knoppix 3.2 (jadro
2.4.20-xfs), knoppix 3.4 (jadro 2.4.20 lub tez na 2.6.6), Slackware 10.0
(jadro 2.4.24 (jesli dobrze pamietam) bare.i) - wszystkie jadra sa
standardowe (nie przekompilowywalem ich), pod Debian 3.0 tez sa problemy (na
razie probuje to postawic na knoppiksie lub slacku).

Proba spingowania czegokolwiek konczy sie niepowodzeniem (Host Unreachable)
lub baaardzo dlugimi czasami pinga (rzedu kilkunastu tys. ms) oraz gubieniem
pakietow od 30% - praktycznie 100% oraz od czasu do czasu pojawiają sie
duplikaty (DUP!).
Siec lokalna - 192.168.0.x, komputery sa m.in. pod 101 i 110, na laptopie
ustawiam 112. (karta sieciowa dla 101 jest na RTL-1839, a dla 110 to Intel
EtherExpress Pro - przy czym ten komputer tylko raz byl wpiety do sieci,
celem sprawdzenia czy to moze wina karty sieciowej na RTL-1839).

Karta jest sprawna i slot rowniez - pod Win98SE wszsytko dziala bez zarzutu,
a pingi sa rzedu 1ms (do obu komputerow 101 i 110, wyjscie na swiat rowniez
dziala bez problemu).

Laptopa musze uruchamiac z parametrem ide=nodma (inaczej linux sie nie
uruchomi).
By "postawic" karte probowalem tez z parametrem noapic (tez nie pomoglo).

Przez jakis czas jak ustalilem recznie adres sprzetowy do tablicy ARP
oczywiscie nie dostawalem Destination Host Unreachable, tylko od razu
pingowal. Potem zorientowalem sie, ze czas uzyskania adresu sprzetowego -
trwa bardzo dlugo.

Po jakims czasie, nie dzialaja juz nawet pingi - 100% strat pakietow.
