Hallo Debianer, bisher hatte die Anleitung die in der Brother-solutions Website stand immer funktioniert. Aber nun unter Wheezy fehlen einige wichtige Dinge die dazu führen das Xsane den Scanner nicht findet. Anmerkung: Drucken und kopieren gehen nach der Brothers Anleitung! Das Gerät ist ein (3 in einem Gerät) Brother DCP-375CW Fehler ist,dass für 64 Bit die libs nicht angelegt werden im Kernel 3.0.0-1-amd64 Dies sind die von Brother vorgeschriebenen Installations Schritte für den Scanner welche zu machen sind. http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/id/linux/en/instruction_scn3.html und http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/id/linux/en/instruction_scn1c.html#d6 Debian 6 1. Open "/lib/udev/rules.d/60-libsane.rules" as a super-user 2. Add the following two lines to the end of the device list. (Before the line "# The following rule will disable ..."): The lines to be added--------------------------- # Brother scanner ATTRS{idVendor}=="04f9", MODE="0664", GROUP="scanner", ENV{libsane_matched}="yes" 3. Restart the OS. Aber danach wird der Scanner nicht gefunden. Die Lösung war hier zu finden: http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/id/linux/en/faq_scn.html I'm using Ubuntu 11.10. I cannot scan from my Brother Machine NOTE: This FAQ is verified using Ubuntu 11.10 Beta 2. Operation may differ in the formal release of Ubuntu 11.10. 1. Install the scan driver. 2. Copy the following files under /usr/lib64/ to /usr/lib/. Example command(For brscan3 Users): cp /usr/lib64/libbrscandec3.so.1.0.0 /usr/lib cp /usr/lib64/sane/libsane-brother3.so.1.0.7 /usr/lib/sane cp /usr/lib64/sane/libsane-brother3.so.1 /usr/lib/sane cp /usr/lib64/sane/libsane-brother3.so /usr/lib/sane cp /usr/lib64/libbrscandec3.so /usr/lib cp /usr/lib64/libbrscandec3.so.1 /usr/lib Danach geht das scannen sofort! Hoffe damit auch mal geholfen zu haben, für jene die dies in Zukunft brauchen werden. Solange die Anleitung für Debian 7 mit AMD64 fehlt. --
