Weil Evolution zu einem ordentlichen Gnome-Desktop nun mal
dazugehört. Zumindest sehen das die Gnome-Maintainer in Debian so.

Würde ich nicht machen, da kein Fehler vorliegt.

Ist doch eine gute Lösung. Hast du dir die Paketbeschreibungen von gnome
und gnome-desktop-environment mal angesehen?
