Das hat mich auch überrascht, aber schließlich hat "aticonfig --initial" die
Datei konfiguriert.
Und was hat Xgl (das Compiz verlangt) mit xorg.conf zu tun? Ist Xgl ein Modul,
ein Xserver oder noch etwas anderes?
Vielleicht kann jemand, der eine Ati-Radeon Karte und Compiz oder Beryl
benutzt, mal seine xorg.conf durchgeben?
