Ich hatte folgendes vor meinem Posting schon versucht:

Etch:~# cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1       localhost
127.0.1.1       Etch
192.168.0.2     Etch

Nun habe ich den PC auch noch rebootet.

Ein ping geht trotzdem nicht:

michael@Etch-nb:~$ ping Etch
ping: unknown host Etch

Was mache ich falsch bzw. was habe ich falsch verstanden?
