hab ein usb/firewire gehäuse für ide festplatte, ein firewire ide adapter (war
auch mal ein externes gehäuse) an dem ein dvd-rom hängt und einen dvd brenner
mit usb/firewire schnittstelle alle gehen ohne probleme an meinem via epia
me6000 board (was anderes mit firewire habe ich nicht).

smart gute frage ich glaube nicht, muss das aber mal mit einer hd testen
(evtl. häng es auch vom firewireadapter ab):
