Optiarc-AD-7170A SATA-DVD-Brenner wird nicht erkannt

Hi

Mein neuer SATA-DVD-Brenner funktioniert nicht unter Debian-Linux 2.6.20.
Er wird zwar erkannt:

cat /proc/scsi/scsi
...

aber K3b sagt nur:

Was mache ich falsch. Das Laufwerk hängt am NVidia-SATA-Kontroller des Mailboards A8N Deluxe. Unter Windows funktioniert es :-(
