ld-elf32.so.1 gibt es in der Tat, wie eine Suche im Web zeigt. Lässt sich 
mit "apt-cache search" aber nicht finden und auch nicht mit einer Suche auf 
debian.org.

$ apt-cache search ^elf
binutils - The GNU assembler, linker and binary utilities
elfsign - ELF binary signing and verification utilities
elfutils - collection of utilities to handle ELF objects
libgdbmg1 - GNU dbm database routines (runtime version)

Unter Sarge hab' ich dieses Paket auch nicht. 

elfutils hab' ich mal versuchsweise installiert, bringt aber nichts.

$ apt-cache search ^ld

Da scheint mir auch das richtige nicht dabei.
