Perl-Fehler bei dpkg-reconfig locales

Guten Morgen!

Ich habe heute mit "dpkg-reconfig locales" versucht die Sprache auf
meinem Etch-System umzustellen, und komme dabei zu einer sonderbaren
Perl-Fehlermeldung:

perl: warning: Setting locale failed.

       LANGUAGE = "de_DE:de:en_GB:en",

       LANG = "de_DE@euro"

Kann mir jemand sagen, was das bedeutet und wie ich das Problem beheben kann?
