Druckvorschau spinnt in versch. Apps

Die Druckvorschau, Drucken allgemein verhält sich in verschiedenen
Applikationen stark unterschiedlich ...
z.B.: in Mozilla-Firefox stürzt Firefox bei der Druckvorschau ab, direkt
drucken geht.
Abiword, ohne! Druckvorschau schmiert Abiword ohne Druck kommentarlos
ab. Langsam wird es schwierig sich für jede App. die Ausnahme zu merken
wie es funktioniert, wo ich suchen könnte jemand einen Tipp. In den Logs
habe ich nix verdächtiges gefunden.
btw: Vor kurzem wurde:

In Openoffice-Writer (openoffice.org 1.1.2dfsg1-1) funktioniert es z.B.
Ich würde gerne gezielt vorgehen, da ich mit ISDN nicht *alles* updaten
will ...
