server fullbackup
Hi,
folgendes Ziel: Full-Backup eines Servers (nur Remote-Zugriff/kein
cdrom o.ä.) im _laufenden_ Betrieb.
nach eigener Recherche folgende Lösungsidee:
# apt-get install mondo
dann mit mondorescue Vollbackup-Image auf
lokale Platte ziehen und dieses per scp wegsichern.
Im Falle eines Total-Crashs:
- Minimal-Debian installieren (geht ja schnell...)
- per scp backup zurückholen
- per mondorestore backup wieder einspielen - Auszug aus
Dokumentation:
"8.2.5. Advanced
It is now possible to restore to a live filesystem using Mondo. In
other words, you do not have to boot your PC from your CD/floppy in
order to restore files."
Fragen:
1. Ist das alles so möglich? Hat das schonmal jemand so oder so
ähnlich gemacht?
2. Kennt jemand eine andere saubere Lösung - für Vollbackups im
laufenden Betrieb? AFAIK geht das ja nur mit Read-Only
gemounteten Platten (Risiko?)... Ausnahme: afio? Mondorescue bedient
sich afio oder?
Freue mich schon auf Anregungen und Kommentare.
