Muss man eine externe USB-Festplatte manuell umounten?



Hallo,

ich benutze meine USB-Festplatte um mit rsync /home-Daten zu sichern.

Mein System:

Wenn ich die Platte einschalte wird sie automatisch eingebunden, siehe Auszug

Muß ich die Platte vor dem Ausschalten manuell umounten, oder wie ist der
Eintrag "lost page write" bzw. "FAT bread failed" zu deuten?
