Duplexdruck permanent einstellen, systemweit?.
Hallo!.
Das "Problem":
Beim "Ausdruckversuch" von: http://strg-alt-entf.org/buecherfaq.txt
stellte ich mit Grausen fest dass ich meinem heissgeliebten M o z i l l
a - F i r e f o x nicht die dringend benötigte Option "D u p l e x -D r
u c k " Funktion mitgeben kann.
Im Druckdialog von FF habe ich nur folgenden Eintrag:
lpr ${MOZ_PRINTER_NAME:+'-P'}${MOZ_PRINTER_NAME}
Der mir als "Druckprofi" natürlich gar nix sagt ;-).
Lösungsversuch:
über http://localhost:631
allerdings habe ich keinen Dialog gefunden um den Duplexdruck einzustellen.
Frage(n):
Wo muss ich das konfigurieren? Am liebsten wäre mir wenn der Drucker
*immer* standardmässig Duplex drucken würde (unter allen Anwendungen).
Geht das überhaupt.
Werden von verschiedenen "Programmen" unterschiedliche
"Druckerschnittstellen" angesprochen?.
btw: Gerne lasse ich mich auch auf Howtos weiterer Doku im Netz
hinweisen (auch mit dem virtuellen Zaunpfahl hinprügeln ;-) ).
Als Workaround habe ich jetzt einfach den Text in Abiword kopiert und
dort den Duplexdruck ausgewählt.
