Hai, I am administrating the debian server. Currently I am facing a problem of password authentication. That is when we give passwd command, after getting old passwd, the system says, Passwd: authentication failure. Why is it so. What is the solution for this. Kinly note that there is no problem to login, but only for passwd this problem arises. with regards Easwarakumar.
