....es schaut also so aus, dass -blank=fast nicht das tut, was es machen soll.
Genauso vergebens ist das Resultat mit -blank=all oder -blank=track.
sarge-i386-1.iso
Ursprunglich war als Track1 die erste Session auf der CD-RW geschrieben.
Dann wollte ich eine neue Version der Sarge-CD-ISO-Images brennen,
offensichtlich wurde bei meinem
cdrecord -v -blank=fast dev=0,6,0 speed=4 ./sarge-i386-1.iso
die CD-RW nicht schnellgeloscht, hatte also weiterhin ungewollt eine Track1 auf der
Scheibe stehen.
Beim zweiten Versuch mit
cdrecord -v -blank=fast dev=0,6,0 speed=4 ./sarge-i386-1.iso
wurde ebenfalls nicht schnellgeloscht sondern ungewollt eine weitere Session
in Form einer Track2 angelegt und draufgeschrieben bis die Scheibe dann endgultig
voll war ...
Es ist die Frage, woran klemmt es, dass auf einmal CD-RW-Scheiben mit einem
externen YAMAHA CRW8824S-Brenner, angeschlossen an einer
Adaptec AHA-2940/2940W-SCCSI-Controler nicht mehr geloscht werden konnen.
Konnte es auch an der Weiterentwicklung von cdrecord liegen, dass auf einmal
der Firmware-Stand des YAMAHA CRW8824S-Brenners nicht mehr passt und so dann
gewisse Funktionen von cdrecord einfach nicht mehr ausgefuhrt werden konnen ?
