Die Fehlermeldung habe ich erhalten, als ich eine falsche root Partition
angegeben habe, sprich, der Kernel bootet, läd die initrd und versucht
dann / zu mounten.
Wenn / nicht gemountet werden kann rennt der Process weiter und versucht
/dev/console in der initrd zu mounten, was schief geht, weil das device
fehlt. Dann killt er init!
Schau dir mal grub noch mal an...
In der lilo.conf ist es
boot=/dev/sda
root=/dev/sda1
