Weiß ich nicht, werde es ausprobieren. 

Das mit dem extrahieren aus zB potato usw. usf. habe ich "versucht" durch
eine Suche auf packages.debian.org. Habe aber nichts älteres als
libncurses.so.5.4 gefunden unter stable oder any.

Ich habe hier auch noch eine alte SuSE (6.1) notfalls muß ich da suchen. Da
gab es ein compat-rpm-Archiv.
