CD-Rom

Hallo,
ich habe ein Sony PCG-GRX616 Laptop mit einem DVD-Player /CD-RW 
Laufwerk. Dies wir vom Kernel auch korrekt erkannt (siehe weiter unten). 
Jedoch habe ich kein /dev/hdc oder etwas ähnliches. Ich habe in der 
lilo.conf ein append="hdc=ide-cd" eingefügt, das bringt jedoch auch 
nichts. Irgendwelche Hilfen?
