ok, ich habe nun noch in /usr/src/linux make install gemacht,

GRUB is installed. To automatically switch to new kernels, point your

installiert, danke ;-), aber und dann wollte ich wieder lilo.conf update 
mit /sbin/lilo, gleiche fehlermeldung /vmlinuz existiert nicht. 

/vmlinuz hat einen softlink nach /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.2-1-686

aber unter /boot existiert nur ein 

vmlinuz-2.6.2

einfach den softlink umbenennen? obwohl ich nicht glaube, dass ein falscher 
softlink richtig sein kann und nichts schief gegangen ist.
