DMA mit 2.4.24 und hdparm
Hi,
nächstes Problem:
Auf meiner großen Kiste will mein 2.4.24 kein DMA einstellen (das not
permitted sollte nichts mit Rechten zu tun haben, ich hab's als Tante root
probiert). Der Vergleich mit Knoppix zeigt, dass ein 2.4-er es prinzipiell
kann. Wahrscheinlich fehlt die Unterstützung für den Chipsatz des Boards.
Bei dem Board handelt es sich um GA-8KNXP mit Intel 875P Chipsatz:
