OT: HP uses Debian as its internal development platform
Hallo,
beim Suchen auf den HP-Seiten zu Linux bin ich auch auf eine Seite
mit den HP-gesponserten Projekten gestossen:

Unter dem Punkt "Debian" steht:
Many HP employees are members of the Debian development community.
? Paul Bame, Dann Frazier, Bdale Garbee, Eric Schwartz, Al Stone,
Matt Taggart, and Matthew Wilcox among others are "Debian Developers"
? HP hosts several iimportant servers for the Debian project,
including gluck.debian.org, a full primary mirror (85GB);
merkel.debian.org and merulo.debian.org, ia64 development systems;
and paer.debian.org, a hppa development system.
? HP has donated additional systems to the Debian project that are
used for infrastructure and pporting efforts
? HP uses Debian as its internal development platform
Und für die, die neuere Compaq/HP-Server nicht kennen: SmartStart,
die Einrichtungs-Software, die bei jedem Server mitgeliefert wird,
bootet den Server mit Linux. Jeder neuere Compaq/HP-Server, der mit
irgendeiner Windows-Version läuft, ist also schon mal unter Linux
gelaufen...
