Wie bestimmt gnome-session den default wm

Hallo!

Debian/sid
gnome2.4 (aus sid)

Ich möchte gerne metacity als wm für gnome haben, aber immer startet
sawfish.

Ich habe schon
- /etc/alternatives/x-window-manager auf metacity
- gconf eintrag desktop/applications/window-manager (oder so ähnlich)
  auf metcity
- die gnome Sessions durchforstet, aber dort ist auch nix
(jeweils natürlich /usr/bin/metacity) gesetzt. Trotzdem funkts nicht.

Auf einem Notebook habe ich kein sawfish installiert, dort startet
metacity. Aber dass kann es ja nicht sein, oder?
