Der Controller ja, die Geräte vermutlich nicht. Da steht nur, welcher
Modus für die einzelnen Kanäle verwendet wird. pio ist heutzutage
eigentlich ein Hinweis dafür, daß da nichts ist. Ich vermute eher, er
hat sein CD-ROM als Slave gejumpert und es dann alleine gelassen. Der
Controller scheint es jedenfalls nicht zu sehen (oder es wird
tatsächlich per pio angesprochen).

So sieht das z.B. bei 3 Platten an 2 Chipsets aus:
