FibreChannel qla2300-Adapter mit hoeheren LUNs verwenden



Hallo,

ich versuche verzweifelt eine qla2300fl Karte unter Debian (woody) zum 
Laufen zu bekommen. Das Modul habe ich von Qlogic herunter geladen und 
nach Anleitung die Makefiles für den Kernel 2.4.20 angepasst und Kernel 
neu übersetzt. Die zugehörige SAN Disk hat die LUN 10 was sich auch 
nicht direkt ändern läßt, da am Controller nur noch die höheren  LUNs 
(> 8) verfügbar sind und ich keinen Zugriff auf den Controller habe.

Die Karte findet die Festplatten des Controllers, kann sie aber nicht 
ansprechen. Ich vermute es liegt an der zu hohen LUN.
In lilo.conf ist append="max_scsi_luns=256 eingefügt. Interessant ist 
dabei, daß das qla-Modul nach 8 LUNs abzubrechen scheint. Trotzdem 
findet es die freigeschaltete Platte sde


das isp Modul von www.feral.com hat die gleichen Symptome, zählt aber 
die vohandenen 16 LUNs durch (ist so im BIOS des Adapters eingestellt)

Hat jemand Erfahrungen oder Ideen?
