ACPI was klappt, was nicht
Hallo,
ACPI ist für mich noch immer ein böhmisches Dorf.
Ich habe auf unstable den original 2.4.20-kernel mit
acpi-20021212-2.4.20.diff gepatcht und kompiliert.
Die Ausgabe von dmesg | grep ACPI sagt:

Was kann das Ding jetzt aber? Stichworte, die ich aufgeschnappt habe
lauten suspend to swap oder Lid Switch (was wohl bedeutet, dass das
Notebook beim Schließen runterfährt oder in den Suspend-Mode geht. Wie
kann ich das Notebook schlafen legen?
Ja, alles ziemlich dumme Fragen, aber das ist mein erstes Notebook und
beim Desktop-Rechner war ich zufrieden, wenn er sich nach dem shutdown
selber ausschaltet.
