canon i550

hi,

hat zufällig schon jemand mit dem canon i550 unter woody brauchbare
ergebnisse erziehlt? google hat mir folgende hilfe gegeben:

After much trial and error mixed with a lot of determination, I have 
 
found that using the Canon BJC-7100 settings with the 'stp' driver set at 
 
600dpi color and overriding the 'printer specific paper size' to Leter (or
 
whatever you are actually using) yields almost perfect results. I get full 
page printing in color. The only remaining problem is that the margins do
not 
properly center the printed page, but I think I recall reading that this
is a 
problem in common with all Canon printer drivers for linux and that there
are 
some compile-time fixes for this.

allerdings bin ich wohl zu doof für. was ist stp für ein treiber (in der
printtool auswahlliste)? wie kann ich einstellungen und treiber mischen?
