Sorry, dass ich jetzt auch noch damit komme: Beim starten des XServers bekomme
ich trotz zahlreicher Konfigurationsversuche mit Debconf immer wieder die
Meldung:

Fatal server error:
no screens found
...
Die komplette XFree86.0.log ist im Anhang.
Dieser Fehler soll ja häufig auftreten, hat aber sicher immer wieder andere
Ursachen. Jedenfalls habe ich bisher weder in ML-Archiven noch sonstwo im
Internet brauchbare Infos gefunden. Meistens geht es um nVidia-Karten.
Meine ist jedoch eine ATI RageFury, die bisher unter allen SuSE-Versionen mit
div. XFree-Versionen einwandfrei lief und läuft.
Die Fehlermeldungen sagen mir nicht viel, da ich mich in der X-Materie nicht
auskenne. Daher meine Bitte an Euch, mir zu helfen.
