slmodem sur debain etch 2.6.18
Bonjour,
j'essaie de faire marche mon modem sur un asus W6A
il semblerai qu'un soucis soit present dans le hda-codec.c des sources de alsa-driver-1.0.13
j'ai essaie de suivre une procedure pour patcher ces sources proposer par la liste
linmodem.org mais ca marche pas.
lorsque que je tante un slmodem -c FRANCE --alsa hw:0,6 il me trouve pas le périphérique.
pourtant ca marcher sous fedora core 6.
j'aimerai bien le faire marche sur debian mais pour l'instant le probleme depasse mes competance.
je ne voudrai pas faire n'importe koi sur mon systeme et preferais utiliser une solution qui ne rende pas la mise a jour de mon systeme trop compliquer.
je ne sais pas trop comment peut ce passer la mise a jour d'alsa a partire de source compiler a la main.

I can only advice you to try what Marvin Stodolsky wrote in the message below.
I still cannot confirm that the modem works with that, but it looks promising.
