installation d'une extension dans thunderbird

J'ai essayé d'installer cette extension sur mon thunderbird binaire:
http://moztraybiff.mozdev.org/releases.html
Mais appremment, même en prenant la version 0.7, il me dit que la
version de thunderbird est incorrecte et prévue pour la 0.7, alors que
j'ai la 0.7 lol.
J'ai donc essayé de prendre le source, pour le compiler.
Mais voila, ce que ca donne lol:

Appremment, mozilla-thunderbird-config se trouve dans le paquet dev de
mozilla-thunderird, mais moi j'utilise le binaire...
Pensez-vous qu'on puisse faire marcher ceci avec le binaire, ou c'est
vivement recommandé d'installer le thunderbird d'apt?
