J'ai fait ca (sur i386, en anglais desole): - Install java-package package - Download latest java from Sun, I downloaded jdk-1_5_0-linux-i586.bin - Make a debian of it: DEB_BUILD_GNU_TYPE=i386-linux fakeroot make-jpkg jdk-1_5_0-linux-i586.bin - As root, install it: dpkg -i sun-j2sdk1.5_1.5.0+update00_i386.deb - Add the plugin to mozilla and/or mozilla-firefox: cd /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins; rm -f libjavaplugin.so; ln -s /usr/lib/j2sdk1.5-sun/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so . - As yourself do not forget to make sure /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins is in the plugin search path in Konqueror.
