Rtl8139 avec mii-diag en auto 100FD:
totoche:/home/francois# mii-diag
Using the default interface 'eth0'.
Basic registers of MII PHY #32: 1100 782d 0000 0000 01e1 45e1 0001
0000. The autonegotiated capability is 01e0.
The autonegotiated media type is 100baseTx-FD.
Basic mode control register 0x1100: Auto-negotiation enabled.
You have link beat, and everything is working OK.
Your link partner advertised 45e1: Flow-control 100baseTx-FD 100baseTx
10baseT-FD 10baseT, w/ 802.3X flow control. End of basic transceiver
informaion.
Avec rtl8139-diag installé pour l'occasion:
totoche:/home/francois# rtl8139-diag
rtl8139-diag.c:v2.03 5/15/2001 Donald Becker (becker@scyld.com)
http://www.scyld.com/diag/index.html
Index #1: Found a RealTek RTL8139 adapter at 0x3000.
EEPROM size test returned 6, 0x204a4 / 0.
Would write new Default Media entry 0x0000 to offset 6, the current
value is 0xe512. Use '-a' or '-aa' to show device registers,
'-e' to show EEPROM contents, -ee for parsed contents,
or '-m' or '-mm' to show MII management registers.
totoche:/home/francois#
(je vire cette cochonnerie (rtl-8139) qui ne marche pas)
Avec mii-tool:
totoche:/home/francois# mii-tool
eth0: negotiated 100baseTx-FD, link ok
totoche:/home/francois#
Sur une 10HD forcée:
cerbere:/home/francois# mii-diag eth1
Basic registers of MII PHY #32: 0000 780d 0000 0000 01e1 0000 0000
0000. Basic mode control register 0x0000: Auto-negotiation disabled,
with Speed fixed at 10 mbps, half-duplex.
You have link beat, and everything is working OK.
Link partner information information is not exchanged when in fixed
speed mode. End of basic transceiver informaion.
Essayes donc d'installer mii-diag (#apt-get install mii-diag), que'st ce
qu'il donne?
