Probleme d'installation de GTK 2.2.4 + pkg-config

 Bonjour à tous,
Je suis en train d'essayer d'installer GTK 2.2.24 sur ma woody, et
j'ai déjà installé toutes les dependences nécessaire et aussi glib,
atk, pango. Maintenant en lançant le ./configure de gtk j'obtiens :

configure: error: pangox Pango backend is required for x11 target
        ----->
J'ai effectué une recherche google sur mon problème, et je suis tombé
sur un post disant ceci pour aider à résoudre le problème :
"(...) Try running 'pkg-config --list-all' and see what pango
packages it lists."
Mais j'obtiens pour cette commande :

Package gtk+-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gtk+-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable

Ok, j'essaye d'installer gtk2.2, et j'ai pas la verison 2.0 !!

Et aussi : où pourrais-je trouver/configurer le PKG_CONFIG_PATH ?? et
autres CPPFLAGS, etc...
