si ca peut t'aider voila comment j'ai fais sur ma woody....

- apt-get install mysql-client mysql-common mysql-server
- dpkg-reconfigure mysql-server
- apt-get install php4-gd
- apachectl restart

ensuite g modifie httpd.conf pour qu'il accepte les .php et fonctionne 
avec php4.....
/*AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
** LoadModule php4_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/libphp4.so*/

*/

et puis voila.... bonne chance ! ;)
