[woody] dpkg : erreur de traitement de netsaint (--remove)

    bonjour à toutes et à tous,

  je rencontre le problème suivant :

pbipsl@jeremie:~$ sudo dpkg -i netsaint
Password:
dpkg : erreur de traitement de netsaint (--install) :
 ne peut pas accéder à l'archive: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de
ce type
Des erreurs ont été rencontrées pendant l'exécution :
 netsaint

pbipsl@jeremie:~$ sudo dpkg -r netsaint
dpkg : erreur de traitement de netsaint (--remove) :
 Le paquet est dans un état incohérent - vous devriez
 le réinstaller avant d'essayer de le supprimer.
Des erreurs ont été rencontrées pendant l'exécution :
 netsaint

j'essaye alors d'utiliser l'option «remove-reinstreq» fournie par
pbipsl@jeremie:~$ dpkg --force-help
mais je ne comprends pas son utilisation  :-(
quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider ?

cheat and play with the {pre,post}{inst,rm} files.  whichever one is
causing you trouble.  the files should be in /var/lib/dpkg/info/.  edit
the netsaint.postrm file to "return 0" or to comment out whatever line is
causing you problems.  (be sure to keep a copy of the original file, so
you can refer to it if you've had to mangle the old file too much.)  then
do a force remove.  you might have to edit more of the pre/post files to
get the desired affect, but doing things this way should work.
