[Debian]: Sys-Admin-Tool auf Debian "zuschneiden"

Hallo,

vor ein paar Tagen berichtete ich von meinen ersten Versuchen mit
Linuxconf, einem meines Ermessens recht durchdachten Tools.
Jetzt hat mich der Maintainer (nicht Debianer?) des Tools nach einem
Feedback von mir angemailt, er wolle das Tool mehr auf Debian
zuschneiden. 
Super Idee!!!
Nur kenne ich mich mit der Materie nicht so gut aus.....

Also, er ist auf Eure Unterstuetzung angewiesen!!!

Ich habe im folgenden 'mal seine Vorschlaege und Anregungen gepostete
und bitte um Diskussion dieser.....sollten konkrete  Ideen oder Fragen
aufkommen, koennt Ihr ja auch direkt Kontakt mit ihm aufnehmen
(e-mail-Adr. unten).

Vielleicht wird ja was draus.....
