Du willst gimp 0.54 nicht installieren!
Zwischen gimp 0.5x und gimp 0.9x gab es einen Quantensprung. Von Paul Seelig gibt es bo-Pakete zu gimp 0.9x. Die genaue Adresse weiß ich nicht, aber schau einfach mal auf seine Seiten unter http://www.uni-mainz.de/~pseelig/
