Was ist denn das für ein komischer ipppd? Welches File hast Du hier
reingepastet?

Mach das mal weg. Wenn das dieselbe Option wie +pap in meinem System
ist, verlangst Du damit, daß ibm.net sich bei Dir mit PAP
authentifiziert. Und dazu sind die sicher nicht bereit. Aber dann
kommt normalerweise eine andere Fehlermeldung. Mein Tip ist also nur
ein Schuß ins Blaue.
