package: texlive-latex-extra version: 2014.20140717-1 severity: important justification: this dependency package is too huge to be installed as a default most people installing latex likely already know latex and those who want to use the doc package can manually install if they wish. having to download 279mb doc package is kind of spoils the package split rationale. texlive-latex-extra-doc should only be in suggests and not recommends. It also adds to the image size of first dvd.
