Bug#700078: thailatex: please build-dep on tex-common >= 4.01 for doc file location change

Package: thailatex
Version: 0.5.1-1
Severity: normal

Hi Theppitak,

I would like to draw your attention to the following upcoming change
in tex-common which will influence your package, too:
tex-common >= 4 (in experimental) drops the symlink
	/u/s/texmf/doc -> /u/s/doc/texmf
that means if you install files into /usr/share/doc/texmf they
will not be found by texdoc.

So the files you are installing into /usr/share/doc/texmf/thailatex
(links) should actually go into
	/usr/share/texmf/doc/thailatex
and nowhere else.

This is also a problem, even worse, for latex-fonts-thai-tlwg,
where files are actually installed into /usr/share/texmf/doc/...

For this to work you *need* to build-depend on tex-common >= 4.01 so
that the link can be broken.

The current package tex-common in experimental already breaks with
the version of latex-fonts-thai-tlwg that ships these files.

Finally, I would suggest *not* to compress the .pdf, as it is already
internally compressed, and texdoc (which is often used to search
for documentation) has problems with compressed docs (actually
a problem of xdg-open, which is brain damaged).

Thanks a lot, and if you need any help, please let me know

Norbert
