Yah.. that is a good point.  dblatex creates for German:

...
\def\hyperparam{colorlinks,linkcolor=blue,citecolor=blue,urlcolor=blue,pdfstartview=FitBH}
\usepackage[ngerman]{babel}
\usepackage{cmap}
\usepackage[hyperlink]{db2latex}
...

This babel does not exist for English ...  I hear about polyglossia.  This is
something dblatex have to adjust.

"less translated strings" ... but maybe it does not affect our usage.
Both have good number of languages supported.
