Yes, but you might check the definition of

Not very convincing argument.

Ok, can we stop this useless thread. As long as you do not provide
the data as explained by Julian (and in many other places) I don't
see any need to discuss that any further.

If you have further complains, please bring it up to the technical
comittee.

Ohhhhh, so we should solve your problem by vague blabla and a crystal
ball ... very realistic.

May I recall the history of events, so that the situation is clear
(I do that wasting my time, but I am already pissed enough with
this case that I enjoy wasting my time):
- bug report of you: Fri, 20 Aug 2010 14:52:49 +0100
  quotes: "renaming to ... broken-install-info ..."
"I was able to reproduce this bug ..."
but no info, even *after* reproducing this bug, of what didn't work
and what error messages. So why did you reproduce it?

- answer from Hilmar: Fri, 20 Aug 2010 18:37:07 +0200
with concise explanation showing what is going on

- email from you: Fri, 20 Aug 2010 18:26:14 +0100
some assumption about internal processing (which is not true)

- email from Julian: (date missing, I don't saw that email)
  reports a successfull install

- email from you: Fri, 20 Aug 2010 18:03:13 +0100
quotes: "...I see no was to _not_ reproduce it."
but at the same time: "I just do not have the correct error messages..."

- email from Hilmar: Sat, 21 Aug 2010 13:36:44 +0200
quote: "Same here. I could install a system w/o problems,"

- email from me: Wed, 25 Aug 2010 23:50:35 +0900
(after 4 days of inactivity of your side, and two reports of successfull
installation, and still no data what broke, what error messages)
reduce the severity, tagging moreinfo and unreproducible
stating that "it is rubbish " that the configuration step is broken

- email from you: Thu, 26 Aug 2010 11:32:49 +0100
quotes: "Debian quality gets more and more worse in my opinion."
still no data, but you are asking for *what* data to provide

- email from me: Thu, 26 Aug 2010 19:51:48 +0900
arguing that severity critical is overexaggerating since nobody
can reproduce this problem (but you and an unnamed and anonymous
  other person)
Asking for terminal logs, output of apt/dpkg

- email from Julian: Thu, 26 Aug 2010 13:00:36 +0100
link to "how to submit a bug" ples a detailed list of what you
should provide (installation method, error messages)

- email from you: Thu, 26 Aug 2010 17:33:38 +0100
the one I am answering now

So after about one week of a - according to you 100% reproducible bug -
we still haven't seen any actual error message, nor any other data
point, like how you did install, from which media, what you did select,
etc etc etc.

Do you think we should continue that?

Please, either do what you have been asked for several times, or leave
us alone, or go to the technical committee. But don't waste our time.

Hate emails? Because I stated that it is "rubbish" that the hole system
breaks while two others tried to reproduce it without success.

I am off. I am willing to fix any bug when there is an actual bug
that one can understand.

Best wishes
