That is completely new. What did you do to your installation?
Can you send me the /tmp/fmtutil.SOMETHING file please?
And please the output of the following command:
find . -type f -exec md5sum '{}' \;
(Did you do something strange, like removing arbitrary files in /etc/texmf?)
