mfw, omega, etc that should all not be. Please tell us:
	ls -l /usr/share/texmf/web2c
	ls -lR /etc/texmf
	ls -l /var/lib/texmf/fmtutil.cnf
	grep omega /var/lib/texmf/fmtutil.cnf
	ls -lR $HOME/.texmf-config
	ls -lR $HOME/.texmf-var

I would suggest the following steps:
	- PURGE all tex packages
	- purge tex-common (!!!)
	- now the directory /etc/texmf should be empty, remove it
	- reinstall texlive(-full)
That should fix it.
