Hi out there,
for me it worked to install the package (after that it was of course
unconfigured), edit the postinst-Script (remove/comment out line 118) and run
dpkg --configure texlive-common.
Maybe this will help you too until the new Version gets into testing.
A further notice: this problem makes it also more difficult to install
tetex-common (I tried to install kile on a clean Debian testing a few days ago)...
