I did reply to the maintainer privately[1] that I was happy to convert
the translation to UTF-8 or that he could do it himself using iconv.
Using msgconv is of course better since it also handles the
content type/charset setting - thx for the tip, Christian. However, as
I suggested to the maintainer - what about actually inserting the
preferred charset in the pot file?
