What is 50dvipdfmx.cnf
Hi,
what's the purpose of
$ findpkg -b 50dvipdfmx.cnf
unstable
usr/share/tex-common/50dvipdfmx.cnf tex/tex-common
This looks like a file for texmf.d, but it contains only comments; it is
not installed in /etc/texmf/texmf.d, and the dvipdfmx package has it's
own version, with real, non-comment lines:
% dvipdfmx
CMAPINPUTS = .;/usr/share/fonts/cmap//
If this is useful, why does upstream (I mean TL 2007) not provide such a
setting?
(Sorry if any of this can be answered by inspecting SVN log messages or
mail archives, but I'm currently offline and busy with other things
tomorrow, and I'm sure I'd forget about this if I don't keep a note,
which I do with this mail).
Regards, Frank
