Umpf, we need 0.33 ...
Trying to run 'updmap-sys' (error messages can be ignored if tex-common
is not configured)... /usr/share/tex-common/debianize-updmap: line 86:
syntax error near unexpected token `fi'


And indeed:
    done
  else
  fi
}

here we need at least a
    done
  else
    :
  fi
}
Argggggg..... all rebuild and retest ..... argg...
