License file of ConTeXt in the distribution

Hi Hans!

No, no, I don't want to start a discussion about licensing, sure. Only
one thing: Can you please include the text from the mreadme.pdf file in
a COPYRIGHT file together with a MANIFEST file which files are actually
covered? I would prepare also everything for you.

Why? We have texlive 2005 packages in Debian, but TeX Live 2005 contains
a quite old ConTeXt distribution. And users are asking for updated. So I
am packaging ConTeXt separately for Debian, so that we can update
ConTeXt more often than TeX live.

But, I guess you know the problem, Debian wants a license statement in
the upstream sources, which in this case is the cont-tmf.zip.

If you don't want to do this, I will work around it somehow, but it
would be nice to have the main distribution accompanied by a license
document, eg in doc/context/LICENSE?

Thanks a lot for your support and all the best

Norbert
