Okay, I've mailed to the lintian bug to revert the change and detect the
problem as an error.  However, our scripts are not in the path and are
not meant to be called directly (instead via the shell wrapper in
/usr/bin).

The simple solution for teTeX is to remove the executable bit for the
scripts lintian complains about...
